1 - How often do I need to test my system?
The State of Florida requires annual inspections on all Fire Alarm system (Some occupancies require semi annual inspections.)

2 - Can any Fire Alarm contractor provide service for my systems
Yes (as long as they have a state license)

3 - Do I have to upgrade my existing system to meet today's new codes?
As long as your Fire system is functioning per the annual inspection report you are not required to meet today's Life Safety code's. But if your Panel quits working and you cannot replace it with the same model number most Inspectors will require a complete building upgrade to today's fire code.

4 - Who can I get to design my Fire system per Florida code?
Fort Knox Fire can provide that service at no charge if we are the installing company.

5 - How long do I need to keep my Fire Alarm inspection reports?
For the life of the system.
